How to clean your microwave’s interior
The microwave oven is very often used in kitchens for baking & re-heating of pre-cooked food items. The interior of your microwave is one of those areas that is easy to forget about when you are doing regular cleaning and over a time, it can form a bulk of debris food particles. So, here are some tips for your microwave so that it is sparkling clean again.
1. Lemon juice:-
* Cut a lemon in half & place them on microwave plate, now sprinkle water over it.
* Switch on the oven for a minute till steam appears over the glass door and then switch off the power.
* Squeeze the lemon and clean the interior with tissues or a cloth.
2. Dishwasher gel:-
*Take 2 teaspoons of dishwasher gel into a bowl & add water until the bowl is half filled.
*Put on power for a minute and then power off, clean entire oven with a sponge.
3. Without Scrubbing:-
*Fill water into a bowl to its half level and add a tablespoon of vinegar into it.
*Place it inside the microwave.
*Turn on for 5 minutes. This will steam up the walls of a microwave oven and loosen the dried-on gunk or stubborn food mess, this comes off easily now.
*Take out the tray and wash it cleanly.
4. Baking soda:-
Baking soda is a good cleaning agent because it is mild alkali and can cause dirt, grease to dissolve easily in water for effective removal. As baking soda is a pure, natural product that is also a food, it is non-toxic, unlike many other household cleaners that contain chemicals.
5. Wet paper towels:-
Make sure that the oven power is off. Now grab a handful of wet paper towel/ kitchen towel and run it gently over the entire oven for 5minutes. The grease stuck inside will be removed easily.
